Click on “+Add another asset”

Click “Select an Asset” to view the complete list and choose your first asset, e.g. Non-Registered Investments

While every data field in the Organizer may have eventual relevance to the executor, all asset fields are optional. You and your advisor decide what’s most relevant.

The fields of most immediate value to your executor are highlighted in pink.

The “Get Informed” tab, left of the data fields provides useful tips relevant to each asset.

For financial, tax and estate planning, record and update the adjusted cost base on your assets. Having accurate cost bases is a massive time saver for executors and will substantially reduce estate accounting fees.

Data saves automatically.

To close an asset and return to your asset list, click on the name of the asset that you’re working on.

You can add as many Non-Registered Investment accounts as you like. To add the next one, click “+Add another asset”. Choose “Non-Registered Investments” again or select a different asset.

Each one appears on the list of assets and in the Summary of Assets & Debts.

To delete an asset, click the small white check box, left of the asset name, click the red “Delete” button at the top, and click OK to confirm.

To print the details of a particular asset, click the Print button to the right of the asset description. Pop a hard copy into your Will file.
